Hi All!

Sorry I have been absent for over a month… hectic lifestyle and all that 🙂 I HAVE been drawing, there’s just nothing good enough to put up on here yet! haha

The Skull 3 drawing I promised has been put on the back burner. I was so pleased with Skull 2 – everything I’ve tried to draw since just doesn’t come close to the standard I want… but never say never. I may draw one eventually…

On a positive note I’m finally in the process of buying my house! The ‘new’ studio space is tiny in comparison to my attic studio, but I love my new creative nook all the same! 🙂

So as solicitors are charging me by the minute and I am still in need to furniture to put into this house, I’ve decided it’s been long over due for me to open my Etsy shop!

It’s a work in progress as there are only 3 illustrations up there but more will soon follow.

Any advice or tips to using this site would be mucho appreciated 😉 and also feel free to browse, suggest a possible commission and of course buy all you want! xx

Details on! I like the concept but overall… I don’t really like it It needs something a little more but I can’t quite point out exactly what that is. I guess I shall have to keep exploring and find out 🙂

Will have to play around some more but it looks like I have some commissions I need to create first 😛

Trio Trees

So this is how they will look on my landing 🙂 Each one is no bigger than an ash-tray (which is what I drew around to make the circle 😉 ) which is about 5″ x 5″.

May add colour to these later once I get the watercolours back out 🙂

The trio is complete 🙂 Found it quite therapeutic to do. I somehow managed to arrive at a new idea/composition from this – let the artist journey continue!

Love is powerful source of energy, is it not? 🙂

I think I will focus on this theme a little more.

I’ve also noticed that I’ve not been using my watercolours for the last few months – I apologise. Living at home means I do not have a creative space and I have to pack and unpack every time I feel creative – which then sucks the creativity out of me.

It make me all the more motivated to get my mortgage!

“Too-Dimensional”

Tried a new composition today giving myself a restrictive area to draw in.

I like it – it’s different – but it looks very flat. Perhaps create a 3-D sphere of my little clusters?

I’m all into collections. Art generally looks better as part of a collection, so a part of me wants to creat several of these and put them in a long frame. Can I be bothered though for something that I only kinds like?

I have something else in mind that I’m itching to put onto paper, so watch this space 😉
