This is my most favourite drawing to date 🙂
So far it has received the most likes on Instagram on ANY picture I have ever posted! (It’s 90 likes btw 😉 )
I am very much loving this idea of creating abstract shapes of ‘things’ from tree roots.
ANY ideas of what I should do next? I’ve hit a creative stump.

Still not dry… Ended up with blue in my ear – it just gets everywhere!
Finally managed to bash this one out. I really had to force myself to do this one! I gave myself a target of 5 (and have stated this on wordpress, instagram, twitter..) so couldn’t get out of it.
So finally I can now start painting these in my new studio right? WRONG.
The master bedroom is being decorated and everything has been lugged into the studio. The door won’t even close as it it spilling into the hallway.
So for the time being, more sketchbook illustrations until this bedroom is sorted… *grumble*
Some more excuses to add to the pile:
On top of that I have kidney stones *groan* which I’ve been dealing with for over a month now. Still waiting for a CT to finally locate these buggers and blast them away.
I also had to have time off work so I’m backlogged with that too.
At least this little madam seem pretty happy I’m staying home ❤

trying to be better use of the space without making it seem forced.
I finally have a space where I can store and create art work! I love this little nook of a room where I just hide away (with the little wolf at my heels) and just explore. I have so many ideas I feel like I’m going to burst!
Unpacking all the boxes that have been left in the outhouse for nearly a year and a half has took it’s toll – I didn’t realise I have so many paintings in storage! I blame my dad for this entirely; I argued they needed to be stored inside where it’s not damp but nooooo, daddy said no, haha. I’ve wiped everything with antibacterial wipes but some are beyond saving 😥
It’s #SketchJanuary again, so watch this space 😉
These certainly look creepy! Any suggestions as to how I can creep them up some more?
And by ‘them’ – does any one want to take a guess as to what they are? 😀
