5 of 5 Jellyfish Compositions

2016-02-07 08.24.06

Finally managed to bash this one out. I really had to force myself to do this one! I gave myself a target of 5 (and have stated this on wordpress, instagram, twitter..) so couldn’t get out of it.

So finally I can now start painting these in my new studio right? WRONG.

The master bedroom is being decorated and everything has been lugged into the studio. The door won’t even close as it it spilling into the hallway.

So for the time being, more sketchbook illustrations until this bedroom is sorted… *grumble*

Some more excuses to add to the pile:

On top of that I have kidney stones *groan* which I’ve been dealing with for over a month now. Still waiting for a CT to finally locate these buggers and blast them away.

I also had to have time off work so I’m backlogged with that too.

At least this little madam seem pretty happy I’m staying home ❤

Chimney / Health Update

Pretty self explanatory this one 🙂

How many drawings do you need in order for it to be classed as a collection? These drawings have worked well in satisfying my creative itch while living at home, but I really need to get painting again… the lack of expression through colour is kinda dull.

Regarding Health Issues – MRI results are in:

I have swelling on the left side of my cerebellum but apart from that I have a perfectly normal, functioning brain. Unfortunately, because I had the scan rescheduled twice because the machine kept breaking – 7 weeks post-seizure means you’re unlikely to find signs of a seizure. Got to love the British National Health System…

So! Despite tests I’m back to square one; I still do not know what part of the brain my seizures are coming from and what could be triggering them. My best hope it that I have another severe seizure where I lose function in my legs and then get an MRI within the week.

As for the existing swelling, apparently it is not the cause of my seizures. They could give me antibiotics for it but it’s more than likely just going to come back. Since I’m functioning perfectly fine I thought I’d pass on the pills.

Feels like a massive waste of time to be honest. So now I’m waiting to see my neurologist, which I could have to wait up to 6 months for. Yay.

Seizures

It’s an unusual thing for me to address on this blog but I felt it necessary as it appears I may be out of action for a while…

On Friday 27th of February I suffered a series of seizures which left me unable to walk or hold anything in my hands. I suffer from seizures already but I’ve never experienced anything to this magnitude. I’m schedule for an MRI in a couple of weeks so hopefully I shall be able to get some answers.

I’m walking again however! Yayyy! I’m still on the little wobbly side but I’d say I’ll be back in my stilettos in a week or two. *booty wiggle*

However this last week I have been solely concentrating on walking again…my hands are still ‘clumpy’ and jittery.

When I will be back to this blog I cannot say but what I can say is that the whole experience – though kinda scary – has been very humbling. You don’t appreciate the simple everyday things such as having control over your own body until you’ve lost it.

And on that slightly upbeat but morbid note – Happy Sunday! Haha xx
