Skull 2: Finished

Hi All,

Overall I’m pretty pleased 🙂 The quality of the skull drawing in this one is much better than my last – I’m going to keep the technique I used.

I had an idea I want to apply here but was scared of ruining it, so I’ll do a third skull and apply it to that. You know I love collections of 3 😉

Skull 2: Work In Progress

I went through a different approach with this one. I started off with the finer 0.05mm pen rather than the 0.5mm. I usually focus on shape then details but decided to do it the other way round.

I like it but it doesn’t look quite like my personal style – odd thing to say I know!

The proportions look alright now but I might look at it tomorrow and decide I hate it haha. Still a way to go so watch this space 🙂

Any tips or suggestions are always welcome 😉 xx

Skull 1: Finished

Hi All 🙂

I decided to keep this one simple – it’s good to know when to stop. I was thinking about drawing rings around it and maybe even put some orbs/clouds around the skull but I’m glad I didn’t now.

So what next? I’d like to create another 2 of these skulls (3 is the magic number it seems) but I also have a commission in the works too.

Perhaps a skull with weird swirly black stuff coming out of its mouth? Any suggestions would be amazing 😛

Morning All, from a several rainy England *wipes sopping wet hair out of eyes*

This is how progress has gone – not far. Wishing I had drawn the abstract-smokey-thing in pencil! Hopefully once the details are on, you won’t be able to see that big bold, unattractive outline T_T

Have a good weekend!
