New Month which means new trend on twitter.
June is #GrowJune, so here is my first installment 🙂
This is just a little painting I did playing with water and salt. I really liked how the orange bled and the the tones and texture created – so I kept it.
I always think it’s good to give yourself an exercise to really remember the basics in drawing. I tend to cover areas that I struggle with such as faces and hands and tone and lighting.
This is a simple study I did showing how an apple is lighted depending on it’s light source – how to draw 101.
As simple as this is, I want to develop on this.
Any suggestions?
I quite like the idea recreating this on a larger scale. Say put one apple on one piece of paper then putting them around a wall lamp. Whaddaya think? x
